This year we witnessed some great red carpet moments in terms of fashion. If Google search reports are to be believed, the Academy Awards have been fashion’s favourite destination for 2016. Some of the red carpet dresses from the Academy Award 2016 made quite an impression, so much so that they made it to the most googled red carpet dresses for 2016. 1. Jennifer Garner in Versace

We know Jennifer Garner for her casual and carefree style sense. But during the Oscar night, the actress completely shun us with her super glam avatar. The actress showed up in a black Atelier Versace gown. It was a beautiful one shoulder gown with sweetheart neck and lots of embellishments on the top. The actress later confessed how it wasn’t an easy experience to carry the dress because of the metal corset. Well, no pain no gain!

Jennifer Lawrence is anyway a popular celebrity and remains in the ‘most searched list’ very often. So, it is not a surprise to find her on the list. Infact, her absence was also taken seriously on the social media. She arrived in the Oscars red carpet few minutes before the showtime and that lead to a trending topic on twitter. But when she made the appearance in Dior haute couture on the red carpet it all seemed worth the wait. She wore Chopard jewelry and decided to keep her hair straight and sleek.
