The most awaited music awards, the American Music Awards took place on Sunday, Nov 20 at Los Angeles. Like most of the award ceremonies, the AMA also celebrates talent and fashion. Like every year, AMA 2016 was an star studded event. We were glad to see Selena Gomez back on the red carpet. And things did not stop there. The night had too much in store and we are here to show all that was found in the Pandora’s box from the fashion department.
Gigi Hadid was the host for the night and mesmerized everyone with all her appearances . At the red carpet she wore a beautiful Roberto Cavalli sheer and lace gown.
On the stage, with co-host Jay Pharoah, Hadid wore a shimmery red Atelier Versace one shoulder gown and looked terrific. She did a Melina Trump impression wearing the same outfit.
Next from Gigi Hadid we had a cool blazer and shorts combo by Julien MacDonald. We loved the metallic fringes, they brought in extra glamour.
Raising the fashion bar higher with every outfit, Hadid wore a sexy leather dress from Julien MacDonald Spring 2017 collection. The dress had so many thing we loved; the color, the texture, the turtlenecks and the cutouts.
And certainly one turtle neck and deep plunging was not enough, this time Hadid added quilt and slit to it.
Finally to add more glitters and glamour, Gigi Hadid wore a sheer and glittery jumpsuit that had more casual feel to it. It was the the sequins that maintained the spark.
The Favourite Female Artiste of the year Selena Gomez wore a beautiful Prada ballroom style gown with Cartier jewellery.
Lady Gaga was a little less eccentric than usual and showed up on the red carpet wearing a Brandon Maxwell suit pants and hat.
Longs sleeves has been this year’s favourite fashion trends. Chrissy Teigen wore a black long sleeve maxi dress with a super high slit.
Another appearance in black as Ciara showed up in a turtle neck dress with a ruffled skirt in black and white by Stephane Rolland and paired that with a black satin platform pumps designed by Giuseppe Zanotti.
Keke Palmer wore a Natalia Fender creation. It was a chainmail crop top with a matching miniskirt and choker. She also pink fur coat to pair up with the outfit.
Bella Thorne wore a black Anthony Franco silk and wool tuxedo jacket and matched it a satin embroidered pants created by Josie Natori. Her colored hair went well with the all black outfit.
The gorgeous Heidi Klum wore a gold patterned Wolk Morais jumpsuit. She completed the look with a high ponytail and smoky eyes.
An amazing Hasley in all white was certainly a breath of fresh air in the fall and amidst all the black.
And we have some colors with Hailee Steinfeld’s turquoise romper. The makeup and the hair did it for us.
Nina Dobrev wore a blazer shorts combination created by Zuhair Murad. She beautifully carried off the black silver lattice embroidered outfit. The hairstyle provided an edge to the overall look.
Another dramatic sleeves here, this time it was Tinashe. She wore a sheer black and silver off shoulder Michael Costello gown. She paired the dress with Alexander Wang shoes and a beautiful Atelier Swarovski Moselle plated choker. The curls and the bun made her look refreshing and effortless.
