Asian Style Kitchen is about Simplicity and no Clutter look. Basically, the concept of Dry and Wet Kitchen is used. All the preparation and the cooking is performed in the Wet Area which if possible is kept out of sight, on the other hand, the Plating and Serving are done in the Dry Area.
For this concept if applied to the kitchen the eating area can be separated by a half height partition or the Japanese Mizuya Kitchen Tansu which can be used either for the partition purpose or for storage, anything can be done with this Oriental piece of Art. Sliding Shoji Screen of Glass can be used for the same purpose.

There should be ample amount of storage possibility so as to keep the clutter out of sight. Simple Cabinetry without any ornamentation and minimal Hardware, Horizontal Grain and Natural wood with contrasting Wood colour will look great. All the elements should be in perfect balance to have simple Clean and aesthetic appeal to it.

Bamboo, Steel, Natural Woods, Granite anything can be used for the counters and island Hinoki Woods which are traditionally used in Japan. Natural Wood Flooring, Soft Green granite counters, and green Glass Backsplash will look very oriental.
