A week ago we gave you a sneak peak of the Kenzo H&M collaboration lookbook. Today, we have for you a gallery dedicated to the much awaited Kenzo x H&M runway show. The show, sponsored by Belvedere, displayed a vibrant and colorful collection like you saw in the lookbook earlier. The fashion was all fun and frolic with dance and music. Models displayed the collection on the runway, and also danced to the tunes of our favourite dance number by Charles Wright, “Express Yourself”

Clearly it wasn’t a typical runway show. It was runway show that appeared like a party. And Kenzo x H&M did their best in order to make this event a success. Along with the models who, like we informed, were dancing, there was a marching band that played the music and also performed impromptu with the models.

The fashion show was overwhelmingly filled with colors, prints and patterns. And we certainly agree that these colors did maintain the liveliness of the show throughout. While it was a little over the top, some of it made for a great color and print merger. Like the merging of the colors and zebra prints.

One of the themes in the show was the contemporary jungle interpretation and looks for this theme were quite interesting. The mix and match of animal prints with floral patterns in an overload of colors visually stimulated everyone and brought in the festive vibe. The presentation was raw and feisty, much like some dreamy, illusive fashionable pages from The Jungle Book.

The fashion show was not for the conformists. It displayed some really loud pop of colors and not everyone is a fan of loud fashion. Someone who likes to play it safe and prefer to stay subtle and elegant will not be interested in something as whimsical as the Kenzo x H&M collection.

An intrinsic part of the show was the pop-up show which allowed visitors to reserve their favourite pieces for them to purchase. The show ended with a flash-mob where models, dancers and band member gathered on the runway and danced like no one was watching.
