Wednesday night witnessed the best of country music at Nashville with the most popular country music icons. Yes! We are talking about the Country Music Association Awards 2016. The prestigious award show celebrated its 50th anniversary this year. There were fabulous performances by Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, Martina McBride, Dixie Chicks and more. Some well deserved awards were given, Garth Brooks being awarded with the Entertainer of the Year, Maren Morris for New Artiste of the Year and Album of the Year went to Eric Chuck.

But what we look out for most was of course the red carpet appearances and we were not let down. Here is the best from the CMA red carpet.

Carrie Underwood

carrie underwood

Carrie Underwood all sparkle during the CMA. She dazzled the red carpet with her blush pink Michael Cinco gown, from his Spring Summer 2016 collection, paired with Swarovski crystals and pearls. Somehow that wasn’t enough and therefore the Bhutani diamond earing and Harry Kotler and Hearts on Fire diamond rings.

Nicole Kidman

nicole kidman

Nicole Kidman like always managed to shine on the red carpet, this time with a button Gucci dress. The dress complimented her body type well and we like the pleated fall of the dress.

Miranda Lambert

miranda lambert

Miranda Lambert wore a black and beautiful Georges Hobeika dress with a front lightly ruffled slit. The look was completed with Monika Chiang footwear, Lee Savage Clutch and jewelry by Hearts on Fire, Borgioni and Butani. We loved the tied hair look and the smoky eye makeup. It complemented well with the outfit.

Kelsea Ballerini

Kelsea Ballerini brought the sass with her on the red carpet. She caught everyone’s attention with her floral print Michael Costello gown. Amidst the sparkle and dazzlings, she was a breath of fresh air.

Jennifer Garner

The stunning Jennifer Garner managed to look exquisite and effortless in the strapless Jenny Packham dress. We loved the sequin work on the top. The makeup and hair went well with outfit and added to her charm.

Laurie Hernandez, Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, Madison Kocian and Gabby Douglas

The Final Five Hit Olympic gymnasts brought the shimmers with their embellished dresses and gown and look drop dead gorgeous.

Cassadee Pope

Well, if only Cassadee’s dress could have less elements. We can’t fix our eyes on one thing. The Marchesa dress has been beautifully designed but with the ruffles, the embroidery, the sheer, there remains no space for a breather.

Maren Morris

maren morris

Michael Costello was one of the red carpet favourite during the CMAs. Maren Morris, who was the Best New Artiste winner for the night, beautifully carried his creation on the red carpet. We loved the curls and the highlights as they looked perfect with the gown. She was a hit on the red carpet and a hit during the award function, being the most nominated performer of the night.

Hayley Orrantia

hayley orrantia

Hayley Orrantia was the fall queen for the evening. She managed to beautifully pull off the floral and ruffled gown.

Kaytline Bristove

Kayline mesmerised us with the beautiful lace top and semi sheer gown dress. The makeup and hair were pure perfection.

Beyonce

And special mentions to the Queen B! She skipped the red carpet but we could not resist sharing her beautiful Zuhair Murad outfit. The beautiful pastel flower and lace gown, straight hair and minimal makeup; Beyonce looked effortless and perfect.
